Photo Post: Never stop playing

One of the coolest things about working with high school seniors is encouraging them to play. To be themselves, authentically, and really bring their personality to the forefront.

I’ve mentioned before that I approach senior portrait sessions the same way I approach my self-love portraits. The reason I do that is because the 2 types of sessions have the same purpose. They’re designed to lift up the person in front of my camera, help them feel gorgeous in their own skin, and show off what makes them uniquely beautiful.

My senior session with Lola did not disappoint. She’s another theater student, like many of my recent senior clients, and she wanted to incorporate that into her session. But she also wanted to play, and bring in a touch of whimsy as an ode to her childhood memories at playgrounds with her family. So we did both. And it was amazing.

Here are some of my favorite images from our day together.

Self-Love portrait sessions can be booked for adults, senior sessions, and even tweens. It’s important for us all to see our beauty no matter what age group we happen to be in, and I love helping people see that in themselves. So if you’re ready for yours, or to book one for your child, let’s schedule a time to chat and see how I can bring your vision to life and provide a confidence-boosting experience!
