Photo Post: Selfie Studio

If you’re in the Tri-Cities, WA area, you want to check this place out.

It’s called the Selfie Studio and it’s located in Downtown Kennewick. This space is so cool, it’s basically a dozen or so little areas that are totally decked out with different backdrops and props. Not only is it a great space to spend an afternoon of wholesome fun creating pictures and videos with friends, they’re also a great spot to get team photos with your staff.

You can even rent the entire space for a party!

In fact, I loved it so much during this session that I took my daughter in to check it out and she immediately wanted to book her birthday party there. So we did, and she and her friends had a freaking blast together.

But back to this session. Some backstory:

I met Edward Lee from Hello Habanero a while back, we met for coffee one day and connected over a shared love of people and creativity. Since then, we’ve become friends and have worked on some projects together, including the Shop Small campaign we did for the Downtown Kennewick Association before the holiday season. He’s so much fun to work with, and has such a loving and joyful energy!

So when his company was hired to consult on marketing for the new Selfie Studio, he invited me and some other local creators to come in before the grand opening to check out the space and make some content. I put it out there on my socials that I needed a model and nobody who was interested was available at the time I was allotted. BUT since I have such amaze-balls friends in the downtown community, Erin from Earth Spirit jumped right in to be my model. And an awesome model she was.

Check out some of the gorgeous shots I got:

Go check out the Selfie Studio the next time you have some time to kill or want a fun and unique date night idea. And make sure to follow them on socials to see all the fun things they’re doing.

If you need a photographer for your next fun portrait idea (I’m always down for a creative project even if it’s not branding related), send me a message. You can email me here, or if you’re ready to chat about your project and get a custom quote from me,
