Wellness Studio with a Community Twist in Richland, WA
Meet Alaina and Carly.
These two women came together for one of my group branding sessions in 2024, held at Alaina’s space La Luna Wellness Studio in Richland, WA. This session was the first time they had met, and it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
La Luna had been open for just a few months at this point, and Carly was headed down a path toward becoming a breathwork coach. It was sort of kismet that they were both at this session!
Alaina
Alaina is a licensed massage therapist and reiki healer. She brings a positive and loving energy to everything she does and she opened La Luna Wellness Studio in early 2024. What started as a space for healers to come together is now a thriving hub for people to gather, be in community, and find like-minded friends to share in important moments with. Carly
Carly is an artist, in every aspect of the word. She brings art and beauty to everything she does. At this session she was focused on getting pictures for her watercolor classes and her stationary design, but since then she has gotten certified in breathwork and elemental life coaching and started a podcast with her husband. I’ll be honest, I was a little bummed at first when I didn’t have more people sign up. But I went into it with a positive attitude and ready to serve these women in the best way that I could (the same way I approach all client sessions). We got started with some basic headshots, then jumped into more personalized pictures for their individual brands.
And it turned out to be better than I could have expected.
My attention was fully focused on the two of them, allowing more time and energy to be poured into their needs and enabling me to get even more content for them to use. From the wide range of stories we were able to tell in their galleries, to the video clips we got for some BTS reels, this group session was gold. They were able to support each other in their images to showcase their 1:1 client work, and the vibes were just right for both of them to feel comfortable and safe to be their most authentic selves.
I feel so lucky to know the beautiful souls that the universe puts on my path. Since this session, Carly has hosted some breathwork sessions at La Luna, and the studio has grown and changed in community.
